While reviewing arrangements for All Pakistan Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto
Bodybuilding Championship and Mr. Pakistan Body Building contest being held at
Gymkhana Ground, District Badin from February 25 to 27 2011, he noted that the
active participation and involvement of the youths in sports activities is need of
the day and essential for inculcating in them the sense of responsibility, discipline,
obedience and punctuality, and generating the quality of leadership and patience
besides the sportsmanship. Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza emphasized upon the importance
of the sports along with education for development of personality and not just
academics. “Teachers and parents should focus on developing children in a holistic
spirit and instilling in them love for their motherland and people, deep moral values
and a strong work ethic so that they grow up to be assets for the nation,” he stressed.
He said everyman, working women and students and working youths need some rest,
some relaxation. It is good that after the laborious work of day, one should play
some kind of game to have a feeling of freshness. Dr. Mirza also asked Districts
Co-ordination Officer, Badin to ensure fool proof security arrangements besides
facilitating people expected to witness the first ever such event in district Badin.
